2008 State Tournament Final Standings and Pay-Outs!

TOURNAMENT BOWLERS
Due to the increasing concern of the extreme dryness on the later squads in the tournament, The Michigan State USBC has decided to dress the lanes for every squad in the tournament. This will include both the team event and the doubles and singles. Beginning with the 2009 Tournament being held in Lansing at Pro Bowl West for team and Royal Scot Golf & Bowl for doubles & singles, we will have fresh oil for every squad. There are some drawbacks in doing this and the major one we have to consider is timing for all squads. We will be placing a time limit on all squads (team & doubles/singles) of three and one-half hours (3 ½) so that we can accomplish this. With all of your cooperation I’m sure that most bowlers will be very satisfied with our decision.

            In addition to our great State Tournament, the Michigan State USBC Bowling Association hosted our first ever Michigan State Masters Tournament. The event was be held the weekend of April 12^th and 13^th at Royal Scot Bowl in Lansing.
