It's that time
of year when leagues and tournaments are
wrapping up and most of us are ready for summer.
I'd like to thank all the participants we had in
the 106th tournament in Lansing, we hope
everyone had a great time in a great bowling
community. Everyone did a wonderful job and the
team event increased by 53 teams this year. What
an accomplishment. Thanks to all!
Quite a
few people have been asking where and when is
the Awards and Hall of Fame Banquet as well as
the annual Delegate's meeting. All of this is
happening on the weekend of June 27th and 28th
in Mt. Pleasant.
On
Saturday, June 27, the board of directors meet
in the morning and in the afternoon starting at
1:00 are the presentations and decision by the
Board of what town we're going to in 2011. The
three cities bidding are Flint, Saginaw and Bay
City. This all take place at The Comfort Inn on
Mission in Mt. Pleasant.
Saturday evening beginning at 5:00PM with a
social hour and at 6:00PM the Awards Banquet and
Hall of Fame Inductions take place at the
Soaring Eagle Inn and Conference Center in Mt.
Pleasant. By the way, our three newest inductees
this year are Ray Sivers of Lansing and Ken
Kossick & Fred McClain of the Detroit area.
On
Sunday back at the Comfort Inn starting at
9:00AM, Jeff Breidenbach of the National USBC
will present a program. Lunch will be from
12:00-1:00PM, followed by the annual meeting.
Again, everything on Sunday is at the Comfort
Inn in Mt. Pleasant.
